Today I spent two hours at the vet’s office. They sent me back to the waiting room while they ran tests. I held up pretty well until I just lost it in front of everyone. A nurse brought me back Dut in her sad little crate. I sat down on the floor and turned my back to all the staring eyes and bawled. We don’t know what’s wrong with her yet. It’s just that there is something wrong with her. I heard behind me a little girl’s voice and the clunking of her steps. I kept thinking, please keep her away from me. I hear her mother tell all the other people in the room, “I’m sorry, she loves animals”. I hear the foot steps getting closer and feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around and see a pair of pink rain boots dotted in red horses a couple sizes too big on her little feet. She got down on the tile floor with me and sprawled over my lap. Her little chunky fingers disappeared in the clumps of scared, shedding fur. Her mom came over and knelt down beside us. She asked about my cat and told me about hers. Both of them got up and went to the other side of the room. A couple minutes later, the littler girl was sitting next to me on the floor again. A couple of stickers and a juice stain took center stage on her shirt. Her name is Hayley. She likes green and to color on her mom’s iphone. She colored me a pink and blue hello kitty. She liked the alligator foot on my keychain and made rawr noises when she touched it to my arm. Hayley sat by me and continued to pet Dut and play games. On one of the coloring apps there was sad face. She said he was sad like me and asked if he was sad about the same thing. When I asked her what her favorite animal was, she said she didn’t have one. All animals were her favorite. In these moments of silly question games all my bad feelings slipped away. Having that conversation with a girl no more than three years old took some of the heaviness off my heart. I have so much gratitude for her kindness and simple smile. The best part is that she wasn’t doing it because I was clearly upset. She’s a little girl who is friendly to everyone and surely made my afternoon a little better.
Need to go to the beach

(in-ep-toc’-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
Decided I’m gonna start finding singular items that I really want to invest in and save towards them one at a time.
If I get this job. Otherwise, no moneys for me!
I was just thinking this same thing while showering today.
No napping. No leaving my room. NO PROCRASTINATION SNACKING.
Tonight is a man town type of night. After all my homework, of course.
I don’t care too much for cats.
Just when I thought I always agreed with you, you had to go and blow it.
